Thank you, Tom Blake '70,  for the older, lovely  photo.  Tom was about 5 or 6 when he lived in Balsan Parc and he thinks Dottie and Terri Bauer were his babysitters.

Below:  The black & white tour from Tom.

Glenn Bingham shot this photo during his visit to Chateauroux in 2001.

Philippe Cassard is a french friend of Chateauroux who lives near Paris.  He visited Chateauroux in May 2003 and was very thoughtful to send us some photos.  Notice that tree again to the right of  the tower - it has  grown at least another 6 feet since Glenn Bingham was there in 2001!  Philippe has sent other photos which are posted on the website(s).

John & sister Jane Seufert '73 & '76 (Little Kids) lived on the third floor of this building - Jim says in the attic.

The photos below were taken by Jamie Lindberg '63 during his visit to Chateauroux in February 2006.

Herve', our french military friend, (was stationed at La Martinerie 2004) asked me if there were any particular photos I would like to have of places in Chateauroux.  Sure I did!  He spent time during the week of January 16, 2004 driving around Chateauroux fulfilling my request.  Here are the ones he shot of Balsan Parc.  He noted that the place was scheduled to be "fixed up."  (See Jamie Lindberg's Balsan photos taken in 2006 to see the "fixin-up."   Herve', thank you for all the great photos you have provided.
